The name of this dance is
really the hardest part to figure out; well, that and maybe how you manage to
side *and* turn single in 8 beats … |

Unfortunately, the
instructions for the first verse don't help, as they don't mention any extra
movements that would indicate that there's extra music in the A-strain for a
turn. There are pieces of music where
the A-strain is 12 beats … but since we don't know what the music for this
piece is, we can't tell what is supposed to be going on. |

Also, the lack of music may
introduce an error in the chorus - do the couples have one or two
"measures" to do their travelling?
Doesn't really matter - either they're moving fast or slow. At least couples 2 and 3 get to do some
resting while the chorus is going on. |

The symetry of the choruses
is pretty cool - top, then bottom, bottom then top, then both. Neatly done for such a simple dance. Guess it was pretty easy to Tumble (or
Fumble or Jumble or whatever-mble) poor Jone … |
