| Conclusions: | |
| The name of this dance is really the hardest part to figure out; well, that and maybe how you manage to side *and* turn single in 8 beats … | |
| Unfortunately, the instructions for the first verse don't help, as they don't mention any extra movements that would indicate that there's extra music in the A-strain for a turn. There are pieces of music where the A-strain is 12 beats … but since we don't know what the music for this piece is, we can't tell what is supposed to be going on. | |
| Also, the lack of music may introduce an error in the chorus - do the couples have one or two "measures" to do their travelling? Doesn't really matter - either they're moving fast or slow. At least couples 2 and 3 get to do some resting while the chorus is going on. | |
| The symetry of the choruses is pretty cool - top, then bottom, bottom then top, then both. Neatly done for such a simple dance. Guess it was pretty easy to Tumble (or Fumble or Jumble or whatever-mble) poor Jone … | |
