New! A travelogue of my Hawai'i/Australia vacation of June/July, 2005!!
|
|
Personally, I'm
old
and live in the Chestnut Hill
area of Philadelphia.
|
Professionally, I'm a computer
Analyst/Programmer for
Drexel University,
and have been since 1985, though I've worked for the
University since 1982
|
Recreationally, I like to read a great deal, and to that end I own a
large number of books, most of them
Science Fiction and Fantasy, with a smattering of other things
thrown in, like mysteries, spy books, and paranormal romances.
|
Not to be one-dimensional,
I also like to write, mostly Science Fiction
and Fantasy. The bulk of my output can be seen
in DargonZine, described below.
|
 |
DargonZine is a noncommercial electronic magazine (ISSN 1080-9910) that prints
original medieval fantasy stories written by aspiring Internet writers. It is
the publication vehicle of the Dargon Project, a collaborative writing group
where authors write in a common milieu, sharing settings and characters. The
project was founded to allow aspiring writers on the Internet to meet and become
better writers through mutual contact and collaboration. DargonZine only prints
stories which take place in this setting. DargonZine is the successor of FSFnet,
which was the Dargon Project's original magazine. Between FSFnet and DargonZine,
we have been continually producing collaborative fantasy fiction since 1985 and
are the longest-running electronic magazine on the Internet. |

Other interests: playing RPGs,
a one-time interest in Trading Card Games,
as well as other games. Also, there's
creating things. More (possibly) to come.
